Women in Nuclear Decommissioning Iniciative (WiNDI) began its activities in 2021 with the aim of promoting and strengthening the involvement of women in the decommissioning field, in order to attract current and future talents to this innovate technology sector.
The mission of the initiative is to promote diversity in the nuclear decommissioning industry where women can play a key role in developing innovative and sustainable solutions.
One of its objectives is to give visibility to professional women working in this field to illustrate the diversity of careers and promote them, which we hope will be a tool in inspiring the young generation to this sector.
In this regard, WiNDI has created a portrait of women actively working in this strategic area, to provide insights and views, so people can get to know better their career paths and encourage young women with the desire of beginning a similar path.
