WiN Colombia is an organization that aims to disseminate the radioactive and nuclear applications used in Colombia and empower young girls and women who are part of this sector.
One of the most important achievements that this chapter has made since its creation is generation of a mentoring program, through which women who have experience in the nuclear sector in Colombia, share their experiences and support young women who are interested or are starting their career in the world of radioactive applications.

Ángela Abadía Zapata -
Ángela Abadía Zapata has more than 14 years of experience in the nuclear and radioactive sector. During the last years she has been working in the field of nuclear and radioactive material security in both fixed installations and during transport and is the current secretary general of the regional chapter WiN ARCAL.
