WiN Global Represents Inclusive Leadership at Roadmaps to New Nuclear 2026 in Paris

WiN Global joined international leaders, government officials, and industry CEOs at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris to highlight workforce readiness, diversity, and talent retention as essential drivers for expanding global nuclear capacity.

This week, senior government officials, CEOs, and industry leaders gathered at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris for Roadmaps to New Nuclear 2026, a high-level forum co-organised by the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Representing WiN Global, Amparo Soler (WiN Global Annual Conference Leader) participated alongside alongside Beatriz Liebana, from WiN Spain, and Valérie Bellens from WiN Belgium.

Translating Ambition into Action

The forum focused on turning high-level nuclear goals into tangible results. As NEA Director-General William D. Magwood described, the initiative serves as a vital platform for “translating nuclear ambition into action.” Highlighting the priorities for this year’s meeting, U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright emphasised key drivers including innovation, international partnerships, and accelerating nuclear deployment.

Addressing the Global Workforce Challenge

With workforce readiness and skills identified as critical enabling conditions for nuclear expansion—alongside financing, supply chain, and regulatory preparedness—WiN Global’s participation in these discussions is more vital than ever.

Expanding global nuclear capacity at scale requires attracting new generations of professionals, retaining expertise, and fostering inclusive leadership. Through this high-level engagement, WiN Global continues to bring talent attraction, mentoring, knowledge transfer, and gender balance directly into policy conversations with ministers, CEOs, and international leaders.

Together, by empowering diverse talent and strengthening international collaboration, we are building the resilient ecosystem needed to power our sustainable energy future.
