WiN Global Groups of Expertise promote the expertise and vast experience of our membership in various strategic areas of the nuclear sector, with the support of key partners.

Therefore, each group organizes initiatives and events related to the promotion of vital areas such as decommissioning; emergency preparedness and response; nuclear non-proliferation, safeguards, export controls, and disarmament; innovation; nuclear medicine; nuclear security; radiopharmaceutical sciences and nuclear law.

Nuclear Medicine has a clearly defined role in clinical practice due to its usefulness in many medical disciplines, particularly in cardiology, neurology, and mainly in oncology.

Established in 2019 as an interest group under the framework of WiN Global with the support of the IAEA, the Women in Radiopharmaceuticals Initiative (WiNRI) is a professional network aimed at supporting, promoting and empowering women in radiopharmaceutical sciences.

The Women in Nuclear Security Initiative (WiNSI) was launched in March 2021 by the IAEA’s Division of Nuclear Security (NSNS), in collaboration with WiN Global, to contribute to IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi’s vision to establishing the IAEA as a leading global voice for gender equality in the nuclear field.
