WiN Global Annual Conference was held on 28 May to 1June 2012 at Kalmar Castle, Kalmar, Sweden
Day 1: WiN Global Executive Meeting.
Day 2: WiN Global Board lunch and Board Meeting.
Day 3: Excursion to Ôland, World Heritage site, Glass exhibitions and Royal parks and WiN Europe Board Meeting.
Day 4: Opening Speeches, WiN chapter country reports, concurrent workshops about Operational Safety, Decommissioning; Reception and Buffet Dinner at Kalmar Castle.
Day 5: WiN global General assembly, continuation of country Reports, concurrent workshops on Waste management, Installation of new President, Gala dinner
200 delegates from 36 countries attended the congress. Of these, 12 were from developing countries sponsored by IAEA. At the Conference a new President was elected, Dr. Se Moon Park from Korea.
